Wind Down Wednesdays
Wind down gently with free live music in the heart of downtown Duncan.
Every Wednesday in August from 5:00 pm to 8:30 pm, City Square comes alive with performances by talented local musicians as the final chapter of the 39 Days of July Festival.
Bring a chair, gather with friends, and enjoy an evening of music, community, and a relaxed summer atmosphere.

Gratitude Gathering
Join us for a heartfelt evening of community, connection, and gratitude as we gather to honour Deborah Carruthers, owner of Harmony Yoga and Wellness Center and Vancouver Island Yoga School.
Deb has touched countless lives through her dedication, wisdom, compassion, and the vibrant community she has helped build. This gathering is an opportunity to come together, celebrate her impact, and share our appreciation for all she has given.

Purple Ribbon Day
Purple Ribbon Day takes place on Saturday, August 29 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Charles Hoey Park in recognition of International Overdose Awareness Day.
The day is an opportunity to remember loved ones, support one another, and honour hope for change. Please see the details below from Cowichan Tribes.

Literacy Now Cowichan AGM
Join Literacy Now Cowichan for our Annual General Meeting as we reflect on the past year, share updates, and look ahead to the future of literacy initiatives in our community.
The AGM will include the presentation of annual reports, a review of financial statements, and the election of directors for the upcoming term. Members will have the opportunity to learn more about the organization's work, participate in the governance of the organization, and connect with fellow supporters of literacy in the Cowichan Valley.
Everyone is welcome to attend and learn more about Literacy Now Cowichan’s ongoing efforts to support literacy, learning, and community connections.
