Duncan, British Columbia: The Downtown Duncan Business Improvement Area awarded Brunch on 3rd with the Innovation and Excellence award and Neko Ramen with the Best New Business [or Organization] award during the Annual General Meeting held on Tuesday, April 11, 2023.

“These two outstanding businesses have been selected by our membership,” says Katherine Devine, Executive Director at the DDBIA. “Brunch on 3rd has proven its excellence and its innovation through amazing service, food quality and creative menu creations, while Neko Ramen has brought the Ramen world to Duncan and opened up our palettes for fantastic Japanese noodles.  Congratulations to both!”

The DDBIA is proud to call downtown Duncan retailers, professional service businesses, and not-for-profit organizations, our members. Each year, members get the opportunity to receive richly deserved recognition for themselves and their staff through the Business Awards. This year, a departure was made from the previous approach of selecting winners. Instead, members were prompted to review the nominated businesses, assess their accomplishments and responses to the nomination questionnaire, and actively vote for a winner in both categories.

About the Downtown Duncan BIA: Established in 1997, the Downtown Duncan BIA (DDBIA) is a non-profit organization under the direction of an elected volunteer Board of Directors. The purpose of the Downtown Duncan BIA is to foster a unique, diverse, and vibrant downtown business community.
