Christmas Window
The 2023 Christmas Window Theme is “The Twelve Days of Christmas”. We know its way to early to hear about Christmas already – but for those of you planners who start planning your window theme now – here’s your chance. Imagine – six geese a layin’ not to mention those five golden rings!
Next Great Save

Our beloved Duncan Train Station and Museum has entered a national competition the NEXT GREAT SAVE! We are competing against nine other communities across Canada for a $50,000 prize which we know our amazing little Museum (that punches way above its weight class), needs to win to preserve and protect the site and the treasures housed inside. Here’s how to vote:
· Scroll down and select Duncan Train Station and hit VOTE NOW (the red button).
· VOTE EVERY DAY until February 22nd. One day, one vote.
Coldest Night of the Year

The DDBIA is raising money for local charities by walking during the Coldest Night of the Year. The CMHA Cowichan Valley is hosting this winterrific family-friendly walk to raise money for those experiencing hurt, hunger and homelessness. If you wish to join the DDBIA team – The walk is held February 25th – let’s team up, fundraise, walk and gather for good … because its cold out there!
Let’s nominate our Downtown Duncan Members! The Duncan Cowichan Chamber of Commerce invites you to nominate a deserving individual or organization for the 24th Black Tie Awards, presented in partnership with Island Savings. Please visit blacktieawards.com to make your nomination in one of nine categories!
