Important Notice: Cowichan Green Community's Commercial Food Waste Prevention Survey

We are pleased to share Cowichan Green Community's initiative to enhance food security and reduce food waste in Duncan.

Why Reduce Food Waste?

  • Environmental Impact: Overuse of agricultural lands, greenhouse gas emissions, and excessive water, pesticide, and fertilizer consumption.

  • Economic Impact: Food waste in Canada is valued at nearly $50 billion annually, raising food prices by at least 10%.

  • Social Impact: Higher food prices and resource wastage affect community well-being.

How You Can Help

Please help by completing this short survey. Your participation is vital for creating effective food waste reduction actions.
