Three Thrilling Events to Celebrate the Spooky Season


 

[Duncan, British Columbia]: October 12, 2023 – Get ready for a spine-chilling and fun-filled celebration of the spooky season as downtown Duncan hosts three exciting events to keep the Halloween spirit alive and kicking. From family-friendly activities to an evening 19+ extravaganza, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Mark your calendars and join us for these memorable Halloween experiences!

 

Event 1: Spooky Photo Contest at Station Street Commons

  • Date: October 24th to October 31st.

  • Location: Station Street Commons, Downtown Duncan

 

Kicking off the Halloween festivities, the family-friendly Spooky Photo Contest at Station Street Commons invites everyone to capture their best eerie photo. Three unique photo opportunities will be available daily, starting on October 24th, allowing participants to snap spooky photos to share on social media. Don't forget to tag @DowntownDuncan and use the hashtag #SpookyDuncan for a chance to win exciting prizes! Come on down!

 

Event 2: Trick or Treating Downtown

On Saturday, October 28th, several downtown businesses will offer in-store trick-or-treating from 10 am to noon, making it the perfect daytime Halloween activity for families. Look for pumpkin decals in store windows!

 

Event 3: Thirsty Zombie Halloween Crawl (19+)

  • Date: Saturday, October 28th

  • Time: 8 pm to 1 am

  • Location: Downtown Duncan (The Fort, Fresh Kenny’s, and Craig Street Brew Pub and The Old Firehouse Wine & Cocktail Bar)

 

As the sun sets, it's time for adults to join in the Halloween fun with the "Thirsty Zombie Halloween Crawl." This 19+ event promises an unforgettable night out in Downtown Duncan. Participants will wander between four downtown establishments, where they can savor signature cocktails and delectable food specials, enjoy thrilling games, and groove to live music. The night culminates at the Old Firehouse Wine & Cocktail Bar with a DJ'd dance party and a costume contest with fantastic prizes.

Crawlers can collect stamps at The Fort, Fresh Kenny’s, and Craig Street Brew Pub. Entrance to the costume contest and dance at the wine bar is free of charge with a minimum of three stamps. Alternatively, there is a $20 cover charge for entry.
